ac voltage for DigiTech effects question

I've been having a lot of fun with my DigiTech stereo jamman Looper and just came into a GNX4 workstation I guess they call it. It was underneath a friend's RV, in the dirt and weeds with some other stuff thrown hastily there when a tree fell through the roof of the house forcing him into the RV while the roof is being repaired. It's been rained on and whatever else ( thankfully his dog didn't leave his mark) .

I pulled it apart and cleaned out the switch contacts and whatever I could and damned if it doesn't work! The AC power supply was missing but I was able to use the one from my JamMan Looper. The gnx4 says 9 volt AC 2.1 amp and the JamMan runs on a 9 volt 1.5 amp Wall wart. I've used the JamMan PS to power the gnx4 and it's run a few hours with only getting a touch warmer then when it runs the J man, but it doesn't have a memory card either so maybe I'm not pulling all the current that it would pull using all of its features.

I'd like to Run them both and I have another power supply-9V ac 1000ma- that puts out 11.4 unloaded I figure I can run the larger GNX on the JamMan's Supply but is the 11.4 too much for the JamMan? When I checked the JamMan it seemed to pull seventy or so milliamps at idle but I don't imagine that it is too much more, if any while recording. Do I need to/can I knock  down the 11.4 unregulatedAC? Guessing the AC power supply is Maybe proprietary/$ in motivation I mean these things must run on DC right, and I've been reading a little ... it seems there's different models of production and some will take either AC or DC so I figure there's some diodes right at the power input. any thoughts?  11.4 1Amp ac ,  down to 9v.ac?

122.8 at wall knocked down to 103.1 with a variac gave me 9.5 ac at the smaller Transformer but running a variac to get there seems a  little Overkill. And that's unregulated and unloaded how do I get it right? As always any and all thoughts are truly appreciated ....and most are utilized after consideration

It's been a week, so you've probably already figured this on your own, but...

Stock wall warts for the GNX4 is 2.1A, and the Digitech website claims power consumption is 21w (21w/9v = 2.33A). If it were me, I'd get the correct 9vac 2.5A transformer.

Digitech's website claims <9w of power, so something under 1A is used. You could probably use any 9vac 1A or better supply, but that doesn't ensure the stock 1.5A unit is a good fit for the GNX4.

Unlikely. You probably already looked at Ebay/Amazon and found other Digitech 9v a.c. wall warts are selling for ~4-8 dollars. They are very likely just a 120vac:9vac transformer, encapsulated with a plug and a wire with the connector for the Digitech.

I know nothing about the Digitech products, but other pedals sometimes note they need much greater startup current than operating current. Some of the details are commonly available because people make up pedal boards and have to plan power for everything on the board. I presume the company knows their product better than me, so I'd always use at least what they provided stock.

Not at all an old topic I sort of deal with it everyday I left a message for the guy that I got it from hoping that he's found the correct power supply as we plan on going down there in the next day or two. I've been recording almost every night .
if you've  seen any of my other posts they're mostly power related I've been dicking around changing rectifiers on my super Reverb , trying to button up my pedal board- I'm coming to the conclusion that I guess I need two or three maybe... a modular thing I think....   we're not around home we're in a whole different state, and my girl Jeanette just went hitting the thrift stores yesterday and said it's promising AZ to one of them having a lot of old Power Supplies I had an 18 volt from a computer that had many amps but as I was modding it for use on my board I slipped and blew it up

As to my stereo jamman I've come to find out they all say AC but some have diodes right at the input and some don't. On the boards some people have said they experienced immediate fry when hooking DC power and some as I experienced just seem to luckily pass it through ac or dc( I hooked up with 9 volt DC by mistake once.)           I'm guessing there were design changes Parts availability or... and that some models have different processors some powered on AC some on  DC and some on both.

We're next to Zion National Park in a totally small town maybe a couple hundred.  hell I thought the power went off all the time when we were in Trabuco Canyon CA. Butt that has nothing on here at least it was pretty constant back in California over here it seems to change quite often

I don't know what happened to that last reply but it just locked up... I was going to go through it and pare it down, but it just froze so I decided to send it I would have ditched the whole thing butt I've already push the back button and losta post that was somewhat lengthy but I thought to the point. I just sold my Paul Reed Smith McCarty on eBay but I didn't think to look 4 cheap power supply there
I don't know why... sometimes my mind just forgets the most obvious things.

Anyway I've been running the stereo jamman power supply the 1.5 amp one for the GSX 7 and Plain Jane 9 volt AC 1 for the stereo jamman I think it said 800 milliamp. I put a power strip from my variac, hook  up my meter And  twist until it says something like 9.5 volts on both of them and one of the outlets feeds small fan.     the stereo Looper I put on a small sheet of 3/16 mahogany scrap and stuck on some peel and stick feet that hold it up so it's not on the carpet getting hotter.  DigiTech 7 runs cool but I dont use the onboard recorder. It lights up but I think I may need a memory card in order to record... that would be great as I have to mix everything as I play it on the 2 track jamman, and it would be nice to just record a track and bring it up and down in the mix as needed if the recorder work than the GSX 7 would probably run hot I don't know if this last sentence makes any sense as this thing is locked up again and I can't read below the line
