Now, as I'm staring out the window and waiting for spring (only 101 days and 22 hours until pitchers and catchers report!), I can at least remind myself, The Cubs are the champions of the World!!!!

Take a look at the Chicago river just after the Cubs won.

Definitely 1 of the most beautiful sights these ol eye's have ever seen! 

For decades they die it green for St Patties day, but this is MUCH MO' BETTER!

Not yet anyway. They  *think* they have them stopped a ways back but it might be just a matter of time.

Absolutely. I always thought that green color was natural. Kinda like the brown rivers in lower Alabama.

Yes there are algae blooms each year buy that's in warm weather long after St. Patties.
