choke spec question
« on: January 17, 2017, 01:20:10 pm »
Any reason i can't use a 100mA/20H choke with a 18 watt PT? I tried it and i really like what it does for the amp but before i make it permanent i want to be sure.

I assume the choke is between the plate and screen filter nodes on the B+ rail.  It's got lots more current handling than needed but that's okay.  20H is Marshal territory and fine if you like the tonal performance.
