The sunroom project
« on: August 25, 2017, 05:24:37 am »
I semi-retired in early Dec 2016.   Then I gutted a master bath, knocked down a wall, built a custom tile shower etc....... for 2 months.

Then started a sunroom on the back of my house.  I did not do the heavy framing or roofing or foundation. I contracted that out, but I did much of the finish work on the outside, built brick steps into the sunroom ............. and did ALL of the work inside the sunroom.  My wife helped me lay the tile which we're real happy with.  We used Schluter Ditra under the tile.

Been sitting in there almost every day watching hummingbirds dive bomb one another and all the other birds on the other 4 bird feeders. FUN!

The mini-split air conditioner is incredible!  It is whisper quiet.  Quieter then a ceiling fan on low. And it will cool the room in about 10 min to whatever temp you want.

The most hours I've ever put on a project.  Started in late Feb/early March and just finished two weeks ago.  I still work at a real job 2.5 days a week.

Now to get back out in my boat and pick up fishing again.

With respect, Jeff

That's quite a project! Looks great. Just like it's always been there.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Thanks!  Next time you're coming thru Charlotte with your wife,  stop by.  We'll have dinner out in the sunroom!  I'll even provide a cold Shiner Bock

Nice work (as if you'd do any other kind) :)
