Popping when switching channels

Hi all,

I posted this question day before yesterday in a different thread (two channel Princeton Reverb) but it must have gotten lost in the shuffle so instead of re-posting the question there, thought I'd just pull it out. Seems like it could be something applicable to other amps with similar channel switches.

Anyway, as Sluckey and others predicted I am getting popping when switching channels. It's not terribly bad but is audible and I would like to eliminate it if possible. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Try to connect 1M or bigger resistors across the switch I.e. one from green to red and anotherone from blue to red.

You don't need the first switch (left) just connect the input to both grids

Since there is so little difference between the two input stages. Why not use just one input stage and switch between two different cathode resistor/capaciptor combinations? You'll save a triode to use for something else...
