Thanks guys, I have wanted one of these a long time, but the cost always kept me away.  I have helped a friend with arthritis keep playing by changing setups, strings and making his guitars easier to play.  He owned this one and sold it to me for a real nice deal, but it came with his directions.

They are!

You cannot sell it!  You have to play it, not "collect" it!  By play it, you have to wear it out string bending and all.  Put stupid stickers on the case like you have on you OTHER cheap guitars and learn 10 more Jazz tunes.

I grabbed that thing and played him this first.

Well, it really is not all that bad.  Fusion I did not agree to.  Ain't Misbehaving and Big Bad Bill (is sweet william now) I learned last night.  I am doing Take 5, Dave Brubeck tonight.  Remember the REAL Marshall Tucker.  Well Toy Caldwell learned from his Father, a South Carolina Jazz Guitarist who played often with Wes Montgomery.  I will learn a couple like this too.

I've always loved that Tom T Hall song. NICE guitar. If I make it to the other side of this virus thing, I'm going to look for one.
And, agree on no fusion. But a big yes to Bill Frisell.

Don't know how I missed this but I'm happy to see you got a little piece of  Pennsylvania beauty in your hands.
I walked through this plant a few times before it went too commercial and it was truly impressive. Exceptionally nice people who were interested in what they were doing and felt lucky to do this for a living. The guys in the repair shop were especially interesting and I got a behind the scenes look at what they do with the guitars that don't make the cut. I sat around and they just treated me like I was part of the staff. I miss that access because now it's more of a Wallyworld feel where you can't just walk in the old creeky wooden door off the street and take the guys some donuts.

Anywho, CONGRATS, she's a beaut!

Thanks Dave.  Believe it or not, it is Sluckey's Brother who pushed me to get this in a roundabout way.  I purchased a Martin D-45 from him and being a very nice guy, much nicer than his brother  , I set it up, polished it and had me a 1995 Martin D-45 and when I say there is not a scratch on it, there is not!
The price I paid a friend price and so what this one.

Anyway, I am going around playing this thing like I am a rich man UNTIL some guy made me a serious offer.  I then went back home to stay.

Now I have this one and take it everywhere almost.  The tone of these things are amazing and since I didn't really have to pay much for it, I figure I will take it everywhere to play.  Well, I had someone make me an offer on it and it was a good one.  I had to say no and the basterd offered more.  I said I cannot sell it.

So now I carry it around and play it knowing I was seriously offered $3200 for the guitar.  It bothers me a little, but I know why my friend made the deal the way he did.  I own 5 valuable guitars and used to play 2 of them until Jimbob kept on about the strats.  I made a Strat using Telecaster Bridge and PUPS and now I can play a disposable Tele as well.

Thanks all, I really am enjoying this guitar too.
