Thanks to Doug to turning me on to Frank Marino. I was unfamiliar with him til the blues tune was posted.

What an amazing guitarist & vocalist he is!             Frank Marino - Live at the Agora Theatre - It's Begun to Rain - YouTube

Nice!!!
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Look up the band Mahogany Rush
That's Frank's band

He has really changed from what he used to play back in the early 70's. Way less notes in his solos and beautiful cords. Stronger melodies for vocals.

Saw him a couple times back then, had his 1st 3 albums. He always closed his show with a strobe light guitar solo. Trippy man.

Saw them live in '73 at Eastown Theater in Detroit. Those were the days...

I continue to listen to this song over and over again.  I love this tune. It is truly quite beautiful.

I did listen to some Mahogany Rush videos and like Frank's solo stuff more. He seems like he has become more mature and sophisticated in his playing as he has aged.  Remarkable! What a skill set he has to be able to do the vocals, fills around the vocals, passing chords, rhythm and solos all on one song and make it look effortless.

With respect, Jeff

That's the thing, experience. Trower now a days, way less notes at times.

Marino was 16 when he cut the 1st album.

My first introduction to Frank was in the 70's I moved into a rent house and someone had left a whole record collection there. One of the albumswas Mahogany Rush. Can't remember the name of the album but he was doing Hendrix like stuff and I was a Hendrix fan, so I played it pretty often.I lost track of him after that until now. Glad to find out he's doing well and playing great! I love the tone of his SG with the strat type pickup configuration.I had to find out more about his highly modified SG and did find some good info.
