voltage divider assistance.
« on: April 01, 2025, 08:27:32 am »
this friedman circuit. has the option to bypass the first triode gain stage and rout the input to the second gain stage (done with a relay).  If i wanted to not incorporate this option and wanted to just take the output of the first gain stage and cascade it into the second gain stage. What voltage divider would i use? F

don't understand the question?
with the switch in the "both tubes" option it's already "cascaded" into the 2nd tube, V-divider n all
Went Class C for efficiency

I want this cascade permanent and dont want to use two voltage dividers like the schematic shows. i want to use one voltage divider into the second gain stage. wont be using this switched option.

i thought so . was calculating the voltage dividers and both vs one are very close output voltage with 1v going in

There's only ONE voltage divider. R7 and R8 do not form a voltage divider.
