Okay, here's one. I built it for my son and I was just over at his house playing through it this afternoon. It's a Marshall plexi clone with a master volume, an Allen style raw control, and a Hoffman Hot Switch with pre and post controls.
I have others I like as well, particularly since I don't use anything over 20 watts, but I have a picture handy for this one.

Tweed Overdrive Special  with  clean & overdrive channels.  OD has triode into 5879. 5881's   Probably about 17watts

Carolina Overdrive Special with clean & overdrive channels.  OD has triode into 5879.  6L6's   Probably about 23 watts.     This is similar to the Tweed Overdrive but uses a Dumblish type tone stack.

Tweed OD Lite with reverb with clean and OD.  OD has only a 5879.  6V6's  Probably around 14 watts.

Tele's are hollow bodies with no "f" holes.

Maybe not the prettiest or the most controls I have on an amp but was one of the first designed entirely on my own. The Sheriff was my take on a single 12 combo lower powered JCM800 w/ 6V6s. It has an extra gain stage, switched presence, cathode or fixed bias, pentode/triode mode, send/return, variable line out @ 15 - 18 watts.

3 Channels, Clean (boostable to crunchy tones), Crunch (boostable to 80ies Metal), Lead, serial Loop, 2x KT66.

My very first one (ca 2005) but...still....the one that I am the most proud of.
All octal (5691 pre and PI) 5F6A in a curley maple cab with Weber Alnico Blue Dog and Silver Bell.
GREAT sounding amp that takes pedals extremely well.  But..a total bear to tote around to gigs!

One more creative re-design of a Tweed Deluxe. Only 1 set of Hi/Lo inputs and the other two used for Treb & Bass w/ push/pull pots. V1 switched for series/parallel, tone stack can be bypassed w/ slight low end filtration to keep it from becoming muddy, Vol & PPI MV, w/ switchable Presence in old tone position.

Super Reverb clone/derivative.  Hoffman-style bias vary tremolo.  Standard Vibrato channel.  Normal channel has Brown Vibroverb tone stack, reverb, tremolo, and numerous tweaks including guitar/harmonica switch instead of Bright switch.  Two Weber 10A125 and two 10F150-T speakers.  Mojo cab & chassis.

Visited the owner last week - he still loves it after playing it for a year.  Hadn't turned it up past "6" yet though... so I plugged it into a Weber MiniMass and cranked it to 8.5.  I love that power tube overdrive, but he's really happy with the clean tone.

Cheers,

Chip

I'll bite on this one because my proudest build was a struggle in both design and fine tuning. It started out dubbed as the 'Nirvana Project' last year that I built for a good friend/great guitar player and finished--if you can ever call a project finished--several months ago. Similar in topology to the *umble or TOS and runs either 2x6V6 or 5881s. Sporting a wormy maple cabinet. Too many knobs and weighs more than it should--but it does have a lot of tasty tonal options. And VVR. Ended up being a great amp to play but, oh the labor pains! Regards.

Madison - your amps are beautiful inside & out.  I L-O-V-E that wood 5E3 cab  :glasses9:

Now your talking - sweet!  Phsyco, a couple of questions:

- how did you fasten the silver beading on the front baffle?
- how did you manufacture the chassis with the sloped face?

Love the thread and the variety too! Very fun to see everybody's "hand" like in a poker game but much better since they're all hand-made pride & joy. I call these more than just great art, they're functional art. The best kind. You get to see, hear, feel, touch, play, and even smell and about the only sense you can't do is taste.

Manufacture chassis? How about a sheet of aluminum and a hand brake! And a drill.
Yeah i did a dual 2204.It's still hurting people's eardrums to this day.The silver beading is an automotive trim and it's inserted into a CNC channel cut into the baffle.

Even though you've pointed it out, and the pictures are good, I can't see it myself.

If I ever get around to building my own 5E3 the cab will look much like yours. I think it's excellent.
